| Our Mission |
| Our mission is to encourage and offer hope to low-income single mothers and at-risk girls with resources that motivate their thinking and impact their doing. We aim to ensure that low-income single mothers and at-risk girls develop and embrace strategies to combat poverty and have the determination and self-esteem to break through each obstacle that may confront them as they journey through life. We do this by developing and implementing strategies and programs that are designed to fight the high rate of poverty, negative self-concepts, low self-esteem, unemployment and the spreading of life threatening diseases. |

| We will be one of the world's most essential empowering organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area, positively impacting over 20,000 low income families. We will make every effort to restore and enhance positive attributes into single mothers and at-risk girls that will reflect upon their children, peers and the community at large. In addition, we will collaborate with other community organizations to improve the lives of single mothers and at-risk girls. |
| Founder/CEO with Mom Tyunin's Breakthrough is dedicated in loving memory of my mother Tyunin "Tiny" Gray. Though my mother battled with substance abuse I credit who I am as a Woman, Mother, Wife and Daughter to her! Her legacy will live on through me and Tyunin's Breakthrough! May you rest in Peace!
